Instructions:
- Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream Cheese and Cherry Danish: a. Mix 8 oz cream cheese with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract until well combined. b. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes. f. While baking, prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and milk until smooth. g. After the danish has cooled slightly, frost with the prepared icing.
- Apple and Cherry Turnovers: a. For the turnovers, fill puff pastry with your choice of fruit filling. b. Brush with the egg wash. c. Bake at 400°F for 17 minutes. d. Once cooled for a bit, frost the turnovers with the same icing used for the danish.
