Grilled Rib Eye
Ingredients:
- Rib eye steak
- Salt
- Pepper
- Onion powder
- Garlic
Instructions:
- Season the rib eye steak with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic.
- Grill the steak to medium doneness.
Hand-Cut Creamed Corn:
Ingredients:
- Fresh corn on the cob
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 oz cream cheese
Instructions:
- Cut kernels off the corn cob.
- "Milk" the cob by scraping it with a spoon into a saucepan.
- Add cut corn, butter, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and cream cheese to the saucepan.
- Heat on medium-low until all ingredients are melted and well blended.
- Simmer for a few minutes.
Cubed Cinnamon Sweet Potatoes:
Ingredients:
- Sweet potatoes
- Butter
- Cinnamon
- Sugar
Instructions:
- Peel and cube sweet potatoes into 1-inch pieces.
- Place in a greased baking dish and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and spread a mixture of butter, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Return to the oven until cooked through and soft.
Fresh Green Beans:
Ingredients:
- 5 strips bacon, cut into pieces
- Fresh green beans
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions:
- Brown bacon pieces in a saucepan.
- Add washed and cut green beans to the saucepan.
- Cover with water, add salt and pepper.
- Simmer until the beans reach the desired tenderness.
