Ingredients:

  • 2 cups milk

For the Filling:

  • 1 cup Crisco shortening
  • 4 cups confectionery sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Preparation:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Whoopie Pies Batter:
    • In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
    • Cream together Crisco shortening, sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, and unsweetened cocoa.
