Grilled Peaches and Blueberries on Cinnamon Brioche
Ingredients:
- Fresh peaches, thinly sliced
- Butter
- Cinnamon
- Brown sugar
- Blueberries
- Cinnamon brioche bread
- Vanilla ice cream
- Whipped cream
- Honey
Instructions:
- Preheat your grill (or Blackstone griddle) to the lowest heat setting.
- Place half a stick of butter on the grill to melt.
- Arrange the thinly sliced fresh peaches on the grill. Let them simmer for a while, ensuring they don't burn, and flip them periodically.
- Sprinkle brown sugar (adjust to your liking) and a couple of spoonfuls of cinnamon (adjust to your liking) over the peaches. Allow the sugar and cinnamon to create a glaze and soften the peaches.
- After a few minutes, add a handful or two of blueberries to the grill. Let them simmer, flipping them to mix in. They will begin to release juices that coat the peaches.
- On another part of the grill, spread some butter-flavored Crisco and place the slices of cinnamon brioche bread. Grill them to a crispy golden brown on both sides.
- Plate the grilled peaches and blueberries on top of the grilled cinnamon brioche bread.
- Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and a drizzle of honey.
