Angus Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
Ingredients:
- 1-2 pounds Black Angus beef
- 2 bags frozen broccoli
- 1 purple onion, chopped
- 1 package shiitake mushrooms
- 4 mini sweet peppers
- Teriyaki sauce
- Soy sauce
- Cayenne pepper
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Goya Adobo all-purpose seasoning
- Noodles (I used 1 box of spaghetti, but plan on using real egg noodles next time)
Instructions:
- Boil the noodles first, following the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Cut the Black Angus beef into thin strips.
- On your preheated Blackstone griddle, start by adding a small amount of oil.
- Place the beef strips on the griddle and cook until they are browned and slightly crispy. You can season them with a pinch of black pepper and garlic powder for added flavor.
- Remove the beef from the griddle and set it aside.
- In the same griddle, add a bit more oil if needed and then add the chopped purple onion, shiitake mushrooms, and mini sweet peppers. Stir-fry until they become tender and slightly caramelized.
- Return the cooked beef to the griddle, and add the two bags of frozen broccoli. Continue to stir-fry until the broccoli is cooked and slightly crispy.
- In a small bowl, mix together Teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and Goya Adobo all-purpose seasoning. Adjust the seasonings to your taste.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables and stir-fry for a few more minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.
- Serve the Angus beef and broccoli stir-fry over the boiled noodles.
Enjoy your delicious homemade stir-fry, and happy cooking on your Blackstone griddle!
