Creamed Beef Over Toast: A Homestyle Delight

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 packages of Buddig corned beef (cut up)
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (adjust to taste)
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the cut-up corned beef to the skillet and cook until the edges begin to curl, approximately 3 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and flour until well combined.
  4. Pour the milk and flour mixture into the skillet with the beef.
  5. Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously, until thick and bubbly.
  6. Add Worcestershire sauce and pepper to taste. Adjust the amount of Worcestershire sauce based on your preference.
  7. Continue to cook and stir for another minute to allow the flavors to meld together.
  8. Serve the creamed beef over toast or biscuits.

Note: This recipe yields a small serving that feeds two people generously. If you want to make more, feel free to double the ingredients accordingly.
