Mama's Peanut Butter Cake recipe
Ingredients:
- Preheat Oven to 350°
 - Spray 9x12 inch pan with nonstick spray.
 - 2 sticks of Butter (room temperature, soft)
 - 1 1/3 cups of Sugar
 - 3 large eggs
 - 2 1/2 cups Self-Rising Flour
 - 2/3 cups of milk
 - Teaspoon of Vanilla Flavoring.
 - (I like to add an extra cup of milk and a box of instant Vanilla pudding. Talk about a moist and thick cake!)
 
Directions:
- Beat butter, sugar, and vanilla flavoring until light and fluffy.
 - Add eggs one at a time, beating well.
 - Stir in flour and milk, then mix with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Note: It may take a little more milk to have a good thick batter.
 
 - Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
 
Peanut Butter Frosting:
- 1/2 cup of butter
 - 1/2 cup of milk
 - 1/2 cup of Peanut Butter
 - 1 1/2 cups of sugar
 - 1 teaspoon of vanilla
 
Directions:
- Heat all ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a slight boil. (Sugar should be dissolved by then.)
 - Pour the frosting over the cake immediately.
