It doesn't take long to put together. The more you make it the easier it becomes!
(Great for yeast rolls, pizza dough, bread and Cinnamon rolls.)

Ingredients:

  • 3 1/4 cups of All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup of milk (room temperature)
  • 1 egg (room temperature)
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons of Instant or Fast-Acting Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/4 cup of butter (room temperature)

Directions:

  1. Sift flour and salt into a large bowl, set aside. (I always sift! 😊)
  2. In a large bowl, mix well the milk, egg, yeast, and sugar.
  3. Slowly add flour until it forms a dough. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  4. Add and mix butter into the dough well (by hand is easier).
  5. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth and elastic feeling. (You'll know the dough is ready when you can pull and stretch it without tearing.)
  6. Place the dough into an oiled bowl. Cover and let it rise until it doubles in size, about an hour.
  7. Punch the dough down to release the air.
  8. Cut the dough in half, then cut those halves in half, and repeat until you have 16 pieces.
  9. Roll each piece into a smooth ball and place in a lightly greased pan.
  10. Cover and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
  11. Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  13. Enjoy!
